Basic skill most people struggle with

What’s a skill you consider basic, that most people don’t actually know how to do?

To listen with the intent to understand without a simple reaction.

Most people do not listen but hear the other and reflect on themselves and react based on the reflection. This creates separation.

This kind of behavior comes from the ego.

We must stop to actually listen to what someone says and try to hear the meaning behind their words.

It is not easy to listen fully. It takes conscious practice.

There are more people who lack this ability than the ones who are able to practice it unfortunately.

When we are able to truly listen to one and other, we are able to connect fully. It is a beautiful skill.
