Tonight’s cancer fighting organic raw vegan keto soup made in my lovely Vitamix blender contains: a small avocado, half a leek, one small courgette, half of a garlic, approx 2 cm of turmeric – yes raw – 2 carrots chopped to small pieces, broccoli florets, a pinch of hot paprika powder (use mild if you prefer) kaffir lime leaves soaked in approx 2 cups of water which is used to dilute the soup during preparation. I garnished the ready soup with Alfa-alfa sprouts, fresh chili, roasted black sesame seeds, slightly warm button mushrooms with chickpeas and kidney beans for protein and a few drops of hemp oil. Serve it with beet juice and you have the perfect anticancer dinner that tastes great and is full of flavor and nutrition. If you need to add more calories, you can always add more avocados and hemp seeds. If keto is not your thing, try adding some roasted sweet potatoes finely chopped. The sweetness will bring out the spices ever more. Easy, quick, healthy, sugar and gluten free, energizing, just the way I like it. Bon appetit!
